PEOPLE OF THE INTERNET. I beseech you. Go now to Leavesden, near London. Go to the Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour.
Go, and be amazed.
Me and went over the weekend there. Such an incredible experience. For me, as a huge Potterhead, seeing all the actual movie props and incredible detail was amazing. And as an artist, seeing the behind the scenes stuff on how they made it was fascinating.
But guys. Guys. I WALKED THROUGH THE DOORS INTO THE ACTUAL GREAT HALL. I TRAILED MY HAND ACROSS THE DOORS, I WALKED ACROSS THE FLAGSTONES, I STOOD IN FRONT OF DUMBLEDORE'S EAGLE STAND, I STOOD WHERE SNAPE FOUGHT MCGONOGALL AND WHERE THE GOBLET OF FIRE STOOD.
I STOOD IN DUMBLEDORE'S OFFICE AND THE MINISTYR OF MAGIC, I KNOCKED ON THE DOOR OF NUMBER FOUR PRIVET DRIVE AND I SAT ON SIRIUS' MOTORBIKE AND IN THE WEASLEY'S FLYING CAR.
Guys, I walked down DIAGON ALLEY.
I stood in all those places where the actors I love and have grown up watching and loving stood, I saw what the saw. It's the closest I will ever get to meeting them in person or being a Hogwarts student. You cannot understand what that means to me.
At the end of the tour, there was a large dark room round the corner. You couldn't see into it from anywhere else so you had no idea what to expect. And then you walk round the corner. I swear, I watched some people come in later after I'd gotten myself back together. Whenever anyone walked round that corner, they were absolutely amazed. Speechless. Some people even came close to tears; I may have shed some myself. Because round the corner was a huge scale model of Hogwarts Castle.
Perhaps that doesn't sound too exciting. But this thing was beautiful. Absolutely extraordinary. They used it for scenes in the films, it took 40 artists to build and a team of 50 to maintain. It was absolutely, heart-achingly, bittersweetly, perfectly, jaw-droppingly beautiful.
That, to me, shows how incredible J.K.Rowling really is, how incredible those 400 cast and crew memebers are. Call the films inaccurate, call the series too hyped up, call it what you will. But if something has captured the hearts of fans so utterly, that a scale model of part of that world can knock the words right out of their mouths and the tear out of their eyes, then no matter what you think of it it is something special.
I've said this so, so many times before. Some of my friends anre probably sick to death hearing it. But I can honestly say that nothing, nothing at all on this earth affects me so deeply as the Harry Potter world. Nothing means more to me. Those books, those films, are everything, and I will always love them. Always.
I guess that's all I have to say. I fear if I speak much more I will lose what little control over my emotions I have.
So, for now;

HOME AGAIN IT'S CLEAR, ALL I EVER WANTED SEEMS TO BE RIGHT HEEEEEERE
Yup so I'm back again, back from another swanky roadtrip in Canada for family funtimes. It was awesome as all hell as per. I'm not gonna go on and on because you all surely have much better things to do than listen to me ramble. But wow it was good. But -and I've said this before- there really is no place like home.
When we first arrived in Canada my dad had some kind of infection in his foot -and my dad, bless him, is such a worrier- so he went to a doctor's for a consultation. And it cost over $100.
Lemme say this. Britain has a lot to be proud of. Our history, our heri
Update time!
Aw yeah, update time. How exciting! Haha not really.
Well I've been away for two weeks in Tunisia with my mum and my little sister and... well it was equal parts good and bad really. I mean, it was great to just relax and play AC New Leaf (which is awesome btw :D) and the latest Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, which my sister kindly bought me as an early birthday gift <3 And Fire Emblem of course because I am in love with that game so much you have no idea. Awakening is now my favourite game pretty much ever and that's not easy.
So yeah, that was good. And I got to catch up on reading; I haven't properly read a book in months so that was wonder
LAHNDAHN
So it's been forever since I updated this thing, and since I just had an AMAZING trip away I figured now was as good a time as any! My three best friends and I just spent three days down in merry old London, seeing the sights and hitting the shows. It was fantastic. Saw Buckingham Palace, Downing Street, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, went up the London Eye and round an aquarium. We went to see Wicked which was amazing, I've always wanted to see that musical. And it didn't disappoint me :D
But the best bit, the absolute highlight, was when we went to the orchestra. We went to London specifically to see this show.

You know, I don't think I'll post a journal about the trip. Your's says all that needs to be said.
